A warm welcome to the DaiMao Fanfiction Archive!

As the title of this journal suggests, this blog is all about DaiMao fanfiction...but here comes the catch!!!
We won't import DaiMao fanfics that have been already posted on other platforms into this journal....
Instead we will host regular, themed DaiMao fanfic events on this journal, fanfic events that everybody can participate in.
Our goal is to create a diverse, extensive DaiMao fanfic archive over time, using all the stories that you send to us during event periods...

Now you might be asking "so far so good, but how is this going to work????"
The answer is that upcoming events will be announced and promoted on a number of social network sites
including Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
These announcements contain detailed information about the theme of the event as well as
all the details you need for participating in an event and for submitting your work to us.

To make sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible and in order to make this journal as enjoyable as possible
for readers and writers alike, here are a few rules we, the administrators, kindly ask you to follow:

1. The fics you can post here should either be one-shots (minimum word count: 500) or chaptered fics.
Chaptered fics must be completed by the time you submit them to us.
Any incomplete fanfiction will not be accepted.

2. Any fanfic submitted to this archive must be a new fanfic.
Please do not submit anything that has been published anywhere online before
as it will not be accepted.

3. Any fanfic submitted to this archive should be in English.
If English is not your native language, you have the option of submitting a native language version of your work
together with the English version.

4. Your stories can include as many side characters and side pairings, real or fictional, as you like
as long as you keep DaiMao as the main characters/pairing

5. When you submit a story, please identify the genre(s) of your fanfic and the fiction rating.
You can indicate a maximum of two main genres per fanfic.

6. Please let the writers know what you think of their works by leaving a little review in the comment section of the story post.
Your reviews are the only reward the fanfic writers get and therefore every comment is highly appreciated.
Constructive criticism is also welcome as long as it is objective. However, any flames as well as any rude,
hurtful or abusive comments will not be tolerated and removed by one of the aministrators of this journal.

7. Please don't spam the comment section of a story post with any comments unrelated to the respective post.
Also, please refrain from trolling as it is very unpleasant and we want this archive to be a fun place for all DaiMao fans out there.

8. Any form of plagiarism is prohibited!
If you base the plot of your fanfic on a prompted scenario, a novel, a fairytale, a movie, a song etc.,
then please indicate it.

We hope that we can, with everybody's help, create a wonderful DaiMao fanfic archive for all DaiMao lovers around the globe!

Dear users,

for those of you who wish to participate in any story event and submit their work to us,
please refer to the following guides in order to indicate the genre(s) of your story and its fiction rating.

Here's the list of fiction genres featured in this archive.
Please choose one or maximum two of the following genres to indicate the type of your story:

• Alterative Reality (AU)
• Angst
• Drama
• Family
• Friendship
• General
• Horror
• Humor
• Hurt/Comfort

• Supernatural

When you submit a story for this archive to us, please use the following fiction ratings to determine which kind of audience
your work is suitable for:

• G = content should be free of any coarse language, violence and adult themes.
• PG = can contain minor action violence without serious injury.
  May contain mild coarse language, but shouldn’t contain any adult themes.
• PG-13 = can contain some minor violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.
• R = can contain adult language and non-explicit suggestive adult themes, references to some violence or coarse language.
  It shouldn’t contain detailed, explicit descriptions of physical interaction of sexual or violent nature
• NC-17 = Content is only suitable for adults.
  May contain explicit language and adult themes as well as detailed, explicit descriptions of physical interaction of sexual or violent nature
