“We must solve this puzzle right now! We are detectives so we must do our job!” Our head detective shouted while solving the code, the suspect leave. We are solving the code to indentify who was the suspect. We have 4 suspected suspects which are in the crime scene.

Solving this was really hard. We have their number first so they can go. We will just contact them if we solved it. I said that I will just buy some foods so we will have some to eat while breaking the code.

I enter a convenience store to buy snacks, drinks, and some fastfoods. I ‘am going to the counter when I bumped into someone. I looked who was it and found one person who was suspected as the suspect. I think his name was Mao.

“Mao?” I asked. Just making sure. Because maybe he’s not Mao.

“N-No! Not me! I ‘am not the suspect.” He said while his voice is shaking.

“No. I will not arrest you. I will just make sure if that’s your name.” He exhaled as if he was relieved on what I said.

“Okay. Thank you. But, geez! You scared me” Did I?

“Can you solve it?”

“Shoot that! I think the letters have meaning or what. Or pattern?” The words he said processed in my mind.

10 seconds passed yet, I can’t understand it. Then, a snowflake fall from above. I look at my watch to check what time is it. 12:00 a.m. It’s now December 25. Christmas day come.

“Wait did you said pattern?”

“Yeah. Why?” I grabbed his hand and ran.

After few minutes, we arrived at the crime scene where we are doing some examinations earlier.

“We’ve solved it!” I shouted as I raised my hand.

“Really?” Our head detective said while approaching us.

“It’s Yuki” I said and explained everything how we solved it.

I also tell that Mao helped me to solve it. “We’re very thankful for you Mao. We’re sorry that we had suspected you”

“No it’s okay. We’re only humans” I said that we better go on now because it’s 1:00 a.m. in the morning. We bid goodbye and started to walk out of the place. We also decided that they will be the one who will arrest the suspect and explain everything.

“Where do you live Dai-chan?” Mao asked me while walking.

“Just in that street. Wait! How did you know my name?”

“I just heard to your head detective” Then he smiled.

Dug dug…

What was that? I just smiled back at him and we continued to walk.

“Wait. How ‘bout you? Where do you live?” I asked and glanced at him.

“Just in that street also.”

We had come to the street where we lived after 2 minutes. Well, we walked as a turtle while telling some stories about our life. I also said that I lived alone. He also lived alone, he said.

“I just want to sleep now” Again, my face flushed red. Well, I just only have one room and it will be rude if I will let him to sleep in my couch. So, no choice.

“Just go to that room and… and sleep! That’s it!” This awkward feeling! He went to my room and closed it. I eat first and brushed my teeth and go to my room. I change my clothes inside of the C.R and lay down my bed. It’s pretty big so we are fitted in the bed.
